HOW TO REACH SINTRA
By car
You can reach Sintra using the IC 19 (from Lisbon), the IC 30 (from Mafra), the EN 9 (by A5/
Cascais) or even through the A16.

The town of Sintra has reserved areas with paid parking on public roads. These areas are
properly marked. To validate parking, you must purchase the corresponding parking meter
ticket.
You can also use the car park of Portela de Sintra (24 Hours). This park is connected by bus and
train. The maximum value/day is
€ 1.50 (VAT Included).
By train
From Lisbon to Sintra, trains depart regularly from Rossio train station (in the historical city
center) or Oriente train station.
The trip lasts 40/45 minutes.
By plane
From Lisbon-Portela Airport, you can take the metro (red line) to Oriente train station, then the
Oriente-Sintra train.

Cancellation policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email, fax) to the Organizing Secretariat
no later than October 31st, 2024. Verbal cancellation requests will not be considered.
For cancellation requests made by October 31st, 2024, 70% of the paid or promised amount will be
refunded. No refunds will be issued after this date.
Name changes will be accepted until November 22nd, 2024.

UEMS-EACCME® ACCREDITATION
The LLL COURSE – Chronic intestinal failure and home-parenteral nutrition (HPN) in adults has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 3.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
