SUMMER TALKS IN BOLOGNA ON PEDIATRIC AND CONGENITAL CARDIAC SURGERY

Dear Collegues,
The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit of Bologna traditionally has been the promoter of high specialized Meeting on The Diagnosis and Treatment of Congenital Cardiac Defects. Given the interest and the enthusiastic answer of all our colleagues, we decided to give birth to a new international appointment here in Bologna starting from June 2022 that will take place every two years.
In the “Summer talks in Bologna on pediatric and congenital cardiac surgery” we will have the opportunity to deepen all the aspects of the congenital cardiac defects from anatomical definition to diagnosis, to surgical treatment.
Our starting point on June 2022 will be “Summer talks in Bologna on pediatric and congenital cardiac surgery: the double outlet right ventricle”.
An outstanding Faculty, composed of international experts, will make a focus on anatomy, diagnosis, imaging and surgery of one of the most debated and complex congenital cardiac defect. A special focus will be developed on advanced diagnosis, 3D printing, bioinformatics, augmented reality and simulation. Session opening comprehensive lectures will be followed by multiple Live in Box presentations. Through a viewer friendly layout, an appropriate time for discussion and a constant interaction between the participants and the Faculty, our meeting is ideated to be engaging.
